Refund policy

Unable to install
If you're having difficulty installing your wrap, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team at info@steeringwheelwraps.com.au for assistance as we would be more than happy to guide you through the process. If you're still unable to install the wrap after consulting with our team, we will offer you a full refund upon receipt of your wrap as per the conditions set out below:

  • You'll need to send the wrap back to us at PO BOX 488, Campsie, NSW, 2194.
  • The wrap must be in its original packaging.
  • Must be within 30 days of original purchase date.

Upon receipt of your wrap, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact your bank directly.

We do not cover the cost of return shipping.

Change of Mind
Because each steering wheel wrap is custom made to your exact specifications - unfortunately we cannot accept any change of mind returns as we will be unable to sell them to anyone else.

If however your steering wheel wrap arrives damaged - we will gladly offer you a replacement steering wheel wrap upon inspection of the damage. In this instance, we ask that you send an email to info@steeringwheelwraps.com.au as soon as possible with a photo of the damaged product.

Rescheduling Installation Service
If you are not able to attend the installation service on the time and day you have booked - please let us know as soon as possible so we can reschedule you into a new slot. Any appointment rescheduled within 3 business days of the original appointment date, will forfeit the original installation fee, and a new installation fee ($150) will apply to the new installation appointment.

Appointment change requests outside of this 3 business day window will not incur any additional charges.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
Again, because each steering wheel wrap is custom made to your exact specifications - unfortunately we cannot accept exchanges. For this reason, please ensure you carefully select your materials and colours, along with correctly entering in your vehicle's Make, Model, Year, and whether it has paddle shifters. Making sure your steering photo is clear will also allow us to make a wrap that perfectly fits. We custom make our steering wheel wraps according to these specifications. 


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve assessed your refund request, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Warranty
All steering wheel wraps come with a 24 month warranty.
There are a few points to keep in mind where our warranty won't apply:

  • Alcantara® if not cleaned regularly can develop a matted down look and appear faulty. This is not the case and the Alcantara® cover just needs to be cleaned.
  • Damage from normal wear and tear is not covered under our warranty. As much as we would love our products to stand the test of time, it will begin to change and wear after regular use, or improper cleaning - just like your original steering wheel would. The benefit of having your wrap wear out is far better than having your original steering wheel wear out, as replacing your entire steering wheel is far costlier.
  • Damage from improper installation is also not covered under our warranty. Each wrap is perfectly cut to fit your exact steering wheel. It is here that we ask that you pay extra attention when installing your wrap to ensure it is centred and properly positioned all the way around. Care must also be taken when tucking the edges under your steering wheel trim as doing so too hard will damage the wrap.
