Hung started Steering Wheel Wraps after realising there was a gap in the market for something that sounds simple but nobody was doing properly — a custom wrap made specifically for your car, not a universal slip-on cover from a servo. His mum came to Australia as a refugee from Vietnam and worked as a seamstress. Hung never paid much attention at the time, but it turns out the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. He now spends his days at the Alexandria workshop doing what he loves — turning worn out or factory-standard steering wheels into something people are genuinely proud of. If you get a reply late at night or a detailed email explaining exactly how to stitch — that's Hung. He's involved in every order and treats every car that comes through the workshop as if it were his own.
